Residential tower foundation: 70LUX Zoetermeer

Commissioned by Staton Bouw, Hakkers will install the foundation piles for the 70LUX residential tower.  These are required to build a 23-storey complex with 134 housing units. Hakkers is providing the detailed design, delivery and installation of 270 foundation piles. The 70LUX complex is located in the heart of Zoetermeer and will have an underground parking garage. A cofferdam will be excavated for the pile driver. This is why a compact and vibration-free work method was required. Hakkers will use the Woltman drilling rig to install the piles. These have a diameter of 457 mm and are up to 20 metres long. Completion is scheduled for June 2023.
